Screen Time Cut for old actors on Beverly Hills, 90210

Out with the oldies, say producers of the recently-resurrected Beverly Hills, 90210. Fans of the CW's revamped version of Aaron Spelling's '90s prime time soap will be seeing significantly of the show's senior stars when the television's hottest zip returns to the television. Series bosses want the show to "adopt a younger feel to compete with its network rival, Gossip Girl. For 90210's sophomore season, the producers were expected to downplay older actors and up the airtime for the show's sizzling twenty somethings, like Jessica Stroup, AnnaLynne McCord, and Jessica Lowndes. "90210 is out to compete with Gossip girl, so young hotties AnnaLynne McCord, Shenae Grimes, Jessica Stroup, and Jessica Lowndes and a host of male eye candy will rule the day," a source reveals in the September 7, 2009 issue of the Enquirer. Verteran stars Rob Estes and Lori Lounghlin have had their camera time drastically cut, and Jennie Garth won't reappear until the third episode.

CW confirms season three for "90210"

The CW network has offically confirmed a season three for 90210. The network announced early pickups onb Tuesday for five series for that season including "90210," The Vampire Diaries," "Gossip Girl," "Supernatural," and "America's Next Top Model." All five shows will return in Fall 2010. Season three of 90210 would likely mean the teenagers of West Beverly Hills High School would start their senior year, as currently in the second seson they are in their junior year. The show has been on a bfief hiatus of season two, but the NEW EPISODES WILL RETURN on TUESDAY,MARCH 9th. New episodes of Melrose Place will follow. Ashton Kutcher Makes Rumer Willis A Hit On Set of 90210

Being Ashton Kutcher's stepdaughter definitely comes with its advantages. The 21-year-old Rumer Willis was filing scenes for a guest spot as a teen lesbian on the CW's Beverly Hills, 90210. Tabloids say the young star has become a big hit with her co-stars. Gia is a punky cute lesbian who isn't afraid to speak her mind, the New York Daily News quoted a rep for the CW as saying. However, after being confirmed to portray a lesbian character in 9210, Rumer Willis claims she still doesn't know whether or not she will engage in same-sex "smooching" in the drama series. Rumer explained in a interview with E! that she shot two episodes for the show, thus she is not sure how her character will be further described in the TV series. "I've only done two episodes, and we're just kind of seeing how she fits in the story line and how she fits in the group," she claimed. Also, during the interview, Rumer also admitted that she does not strip down for the cameras if it is necessary for the story line. 90210 is a teen drama which is developed from "Beverly Hills, 90210" franchise. The first season was premiered in the U.S on September 2, 2008. Talking about Rumer Willis' inclusion in the caste, the series' actress AnnaLynne McCord (Naomi) revealed that she wanted to do a kissing scene with Bruce Willis' daughter, claiming the imaginary scene would be "fabulous." Guess we will just have to tune in and see!

Shenae Grimes "Heading For Trouble"

As all of you 90210 fans know Shenae Grimes, who plays Annie on the show has been through some ups and downs this season. She was in denial that her boyfriend "Jasper" was a drug dealer, even though it was clearly shown on every episode .On the last eposide, we seen Annie finally confronting her boyfriend that she knows he is a drug dealer and he also reveals that he knows that she was the person who killed his uncle, during a hit and run. We are left wondering what is going to happen next?

Shenae Grimes has prompted whisphers that she may be hiding a "substance abuse problem" after weeks of questionable behavior on and off the set of the teen drama. The ninteen-year-old actress was "totally wired-practically vibrating" when she hosted the Gemini Awards in her hometown of Toronto. I find it a coincidence that on the show her boyfriend was dealing with "drug" problems and now she in her own life is dealing with "substance abuse problems."

Supposdely, Shenae is reportedly partying so frequently that she has been showing up late for filming and forgetting her lines. People are starting to complain that she she's more trouble than she's worth. But do you think that 90210 would survive

Rob Estes Leaving "90210"

Just two days after Jennie Garth announced that she's not doing the show anymore, Rob Estes departed his role as West Beverly Principal Harry Wilson on The CW's 90210. “The producers, the studio and Rob came to the conclusion together that his role had ran its course. There just wasn’t enough for Rob to do because the show is more about the kids,” says a source. “Rob’s an expensive actor and wants to be challenged and it became increasingly clear that most of the penny lifting was going to the younger cast members of the show, who Rob adores. He’s absolutely leaving the show on good terms.”

Estes released a statement Wednesday (Jan. 20) saying, "I wish the show, cast and crew nothing but the best. I am looking forward to spending time with my kids and exploring other opportunities."

Sources say that Rob Estes' character will be written out of the show by the season's end. Since we all know that Harry is the father to Annie and Dixon we can be sure to see some rough family issues ahead.
